Created in 1999 as a side project of good friends, Butch Magnum, Gregory James, Butt-Boy, Tom Jenkins, and on occasion Frank Simes, Groovy Lemon Pie has been on "A list" of cover band stardom.
The Pasadena based group has quite a pedigree. Dread Zeppelin, Pete The Butcher and Don Henley, to name a few. Stones, Petty, Cream, Hendrix, all done in a style and manner in which musicians drool and patrons cheer.
Parties, weddings, stadiums and church socials. Groovy Lemon Pie plays them all. Who can make rainbow? Wrap it in a sigh? Soak it in the sun? Groovy Lemon Pie, thats who! |
